W7046 Intake Valve Cleaner

Throttle and Valve Cleaner removes all types of hard-to-remove deposits from throttle valves, EGR, turbochargers, and fuel injectors without disassembly. Restores the functionality of moving parts and reduces fuel consumption. Excellent penetration properties allow for cleaning hard-to-reach areas in the intake tract without disassembly. Neutral to most plastics, rubber, and automotive paints. This product is suitable for the latest two-stroke and four-stroke engines with a catalyst.

Properties:

  • Excellent penetration properties
  • Evaporates quickly and without residue
  • Dissolves resinous and tar-like residues
  • Removes oil- and grease-based contaminants
  • Restores the functionality of all moving parts

Application:

Over time, oil and soot deposits gradually accumulate on the moving parts of throttle valves, turbochargers, and EGR valves, affecting airflow. As a result, engine RPM fluctuates in idle mode, or engine RPM drops slowly without further acceleration. In such cases, the Intake Valve Cleaner acts as a problem solver to restore original performance.

Important Application Notes:

  • Ensure the engine is at operating temperature.
  • If there are signs of excessive contamination in the intake manifold, throttle valves, or turbochargers, manual cleaning or disassembly is recommended before treatment.
  • Do not apply before the mass airflow sensor.
  • Do not apply before the intercooler.
  • Do not apply to vehicles where the intercooler is integrated into the inlet manifold.
  • If excessive knocking or backfire occurs during treatment, pause the application and allow the engine to idle for 3-4 minutes before recommencing treatment. If knocking persists, the intake manifold may have excessive contamination and require manual cleaning.

Throttle / Turbocharger Cleaning for Diesel Vehicles (without disassembly):

  1. Set engine at 1,500 – 1,800 RPM
  2. Apply product directly into the inlet manifold
  3. Spray in 1-2 second intervals, allowing the engine to stabilize in between sprays
  4. After 10 applications, allow the engine to idle for 3 – 4 minutes
  5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 until the contents of the can are consumed
  6. After treatment, carry out an Oil System Clean (Flush) and change the engine oil and filter
  7. Carry out a road test, not exceeding 2,500 RPM for the first 10 minutes

Throttle / Turbocharger Cleaning for Petrol Vehicles (without disassembly):

  1. Set engine at 2,500 – 3,000 RPM
  2. Apply product directly into the inlet manifold
  3. Spray in 4-5 second intervals, allowing the engine to stabilize in between sprays
  4. After 10 applications, allow the engine to idle for 3 – 4 minutes
  5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 until the contents of the can are consumed
  6. Carry out a road test, ensuring full use of RPM range
